James Faello is a Managing Director of Gryphon Real Estate Capital Partners, LLC, where his responsibilities include origination, financial analysis, due diligence and market research.

 

James has over 13 years of real estate experience across the financing, development, and direct investment sectors. Most recently, James worked at Rialto Capital Management, LLC as a Vice President and Senior Underwriter, where he focused on debt financing across all major asset classes and US geographies. In addition to financial review, James was responsible for transaction structuring, due diligence, risk assessment and overall funding execution.

 

Prior to Rialto, James worked at The John Buck Company in Chicago, Illinois concentrating on the sourcing, evaluation and execution of value-add, opportunistic and development opportunities nationwide. James worked on many of the firm’s more complex transactions and trophy developments.

 

James began his career working at Moody’s Corporation in both its Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities New Issuance and US Structured Finance Derivatives groups.

 

James earned his AB degree at Brown University and his MBA at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
